The night before your delivery, Sears will call you with a 2-hour delivery time window.

To update, head to the Order Center and make changes for an accurate delivery.

Sears Home Delivery

Home Delivery will be made on the date selected from the calendar at checkout. If you don’t select a date at checkout, you will receive a call or email with the delivery date.

  • Physical address required for delivery. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes

Your Delivery Window

  • On the evening before your delivery, Sears will email and call you at the primary phone listed on your delivery order to confirm a two hour delivery-time window.
    (If the delivery time message is left on your voicemail, no confirmation is required.)

Things to Know

  • For products purchased through Sears, only one delivery charge will be charged per trip regardless of the number of items
  • All items must be on the same order, delivered to the same address on the same date
  • Delivery does not include installation
  • Estimated delivery charge will display in your shopping cart
  • Delivery is available on most of these items: Refrigerators, Freezers, Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers, Stoves, Ovens, Cooking Ranges, Built-in Microwaves, Projection TVs, Lawn & Garden Tractors, Tractor Accessories, Gas Grills, Patio Furniture Sets and Mattresses

Note: Certain products and/or brands may not qualify for Sears Home Delivery and instead may be delivered via other shipping methods.


Sears Haul-Away

Sears can haul away the items you’re replacing for an additional charge per item.
(Prices vary by market)

Things to Know

  • Haul away is available on a one-for-one replacement basis only
  • Item requested for haul away is limited to a similar appliance type
  • Commercial grade appliances and installed appliances are not eligible
  • Item must be ready for pickup at the time of delivery

Here’s what to expect from our delivery experts and how to get your home ready.

Customer Responsibilities

  • A responsible adult (18 years or older) must be present during delivery
  • Confine all house pets away from the delivery path
  • If merchandise is left on a porch, garage, or outdoors, a responsible neighbor or representative must accompany the delivery team and sign
  • In inclement weather, provide a clear path from street to entrance (no ice, snow, or debris)

Delivery Team Responsibilities

Our delivery team will:

  • Connect delivered appliances to existing home utilities per manufacturer guidelines
  • Remove packing materials from the premises
  • Remove and recycle old appliances if haul-away service is purchased (EPA RAD compliant)
  • Relocate old appliances if move service is purchased
  • Install anti-tip devices for ranges with hookup
  • Offer for sale any required parts or accessories not included
  • Use only new, manufacturer-approved parts and accessories

For Safety Reasons, Our Delivery Team Cannot

  • Remove their shoes
  • Lift or hoist merchandise over banisters or through windows
  • Use customer-supplied or used connectors
  • Reconnect relocated appliances
  • Relocate used appliances to another address
  • Perform carpentry, electrical, or plumbing work
  • Deliver and hook up a range without installing an anti-tip device
  • Install appliance trim kits

Certain products or brands require special handling, are oversized, or weigh more than 150 pounds and may ship via Oversized Shipping.

All-in-One Laundry Appliances

What to Do Before Delivery

  • Verify required utilities
  • Install a 3-prong grounded electrical outlet
  • Ensure hot and cold water supply with accessible shut-off
  • Ensure 240V grounded 30 AMP outlet or gas supply with shut-off valve
  • Prepare an accessible installation location
  • Confirm dryer vent is clean and vents outdoors
  • Purchase a dryer connection kit (new 240V cord required)

Delivery Team Will

  • Unbox and place the unit
  • Remove all packing materials
  • Attach venting using approved materials
  • Connect water, gas, and electrical
  • Level the unit and test operation
  • Check for gas or water leaks
  • Provide customer literature
  • Remove packaging from the premises

Delivery Team Will Not

  • Use plastic or foil venting
  • Use existing or used cords/connectors

Gas hookup may require licensed installation in some areas and may incur additional charges.


Cooking Ranges (Electric)

What to Do Before Delivery

  • Prepare an accessible location
  • Verify utilities
  • Ensure 240V grounded 50 AMP outlet
  • Purchase a new 240V electric cord

Delivery Team Will

  • Unbox and place range
  • Remove packing materials
  • Connect electrical cord per local code
  • Level range and install burners
  • Install anti-tip device
  • Test burners and oven
  • Remove packaging

IMPORTANT

Anti-tip installation may require drilling into wall or floor.


Cooking Ranges (Gas)

What to Do Before Delivery

  • Prepare accessible location
  • Verify utilities
  • 3-prong grounded outlet required
  • Natural gas supply with shut-off valve
  • Purchase new stainless steel gas connector

Local code may require licensed gas installation. Natural gas only (no LP).

Delivery Team Will

  • Unbox and place range
  • Connect natural gas using approved connector
  • Install anti-tip device
  • Level range and test operation
  • Check for gas leaks
  • Remove packaging

IMPORTANT

Gas hookup may incur additional charges where licensed installation is required.
